SIR ARTHUR SULLIVAN, while staying at Doncaster, has been working at the new opra which he, in conjunction with Mr. W. S. Gilbert, has been writing for the Savoy Theatre, some rehearsals of which have already taken place. There is a hope expressed that Sir Arthur Sullivan's long-promised grand opera, Mary Stuart, may be fashioned in time for the Royal Italian Opera next season. Nous verrons!
